Restore in Gratitude Yoga with Sarah (ages 16+)

Restore your body and mind.  Learn yogic tools and restful poses that you can do at home or in any quiet space to help you through the stress of work, family, winter blues and whatever life throws at you.  No yoga experience is necessary, but you must be able to get down on the floor.  Please dress comfortably and bring a towel or a small blanket.

Here’s How It Works:

Your family of four gets a healthy, discounted dinner and a family game for $25. The Family Facetime project wants to make it easier for you to develop the family dinner habit. You also get a basket for everyone’s devices so you can have a fun, technology-free night.

Trigger Point Therapy / Wellness Education Series @ Ridgefield Recreation Center

This interactive and hands-on workshop, presented by  Dr. Christopher Mascetta, DC, CCSP, will discuss the fundamentals of Pressure Point and Foam Roller Therapies.  You will learn what pressure points are and how and why they develop. You will also learn how to locate a pressure point, as well as techniques for treating them including a portion on foam rollers.  Dr. Mascetta will provide a half hour power point presentation followed by a hands-on workshop to help demonstrate the skills that you have learned and how to utilize them at home.

Essential Oil Yoga / Wellness Education Series

Our lives are very busy.  Have you ever wondered what it would feel like if you were to just stop in the middle of your day to sit, breathe, and peacefully observe?  You are invited to Essential Oil Yoga on Sunday, February 12 (3:00-4:00 pm) at the Recreation Center.  At this workshop, you will learn how therapeutic grade essential oils and simple yoga techniques can help you to de-stress and detox your bodies.  The presenter is Isabel Chase who is a wellness advocate, yoga instructor, and essential oil educator.
