Sports Nutrition/Wellness Education Series
May 5 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Develop a winning edge with the use of Sports Nutrition.  In this intriguing workshop, Dr. Mascetta, a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, will review the fundamentals of sports nutrition. The proper use of nutrition in athletics is commonly over looked, even though it could be the difference between winning and losing. This workshop will teach you easy to use ways of how to use it to your advantage.

Dr. Mascetta will review simple ways of how to properly use nutrition to improve athletic ability and performance while reducing the risk of injury. There will be an emphasis on the day of the event nutrition, with a time line of what foods and drinks should be consumed and when.  As an added bonus, Dr. Mascetta will also review the importance of micronutrient testing and food sensitivity testing in athletic performance.  The information presented will benefit all levels of athletic ability, as well as those who just like to stay active.

This seminar is part of the Wellness Education Series and is free for Recreation Center members and $10 for non-members.  Click here to register.
