Celebrate spring with us!  There will be activities for all ages, including:

 

12:00-2:00 pm Balloon Artists
12:00-4:00 pm Inflatable Wacky World and Obstacle Course
2:00-3:00 pm Jester Jim Juggling/Beatbox/Comedy Show
12:00-4:30 pm Recreation Swim (pool slide 3:30-4:30 pm)

 

Tell your friends and don’t forget your bathing suits.  Please remember that any non-swimmer must be accompanied in the pool by an adult.  We also ask that children (under 12) are accompanied at all times by an adult (ages 16+).

 

Restorative Yoga with Sarah (ages 16+)
Mar 26 @ 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm

Restore your body and mind.  Learn yogic tools and restful poses that you can do at home or in any quiet space to help you through the stress of work, family, and whatever life throws at you.  No yoga experience is necessary, but you must be able to get down on the floor.  Please dress comfortably and bring a towel or a small blanket.

 

Free for all members, $10 non-members

The Easter Bunny is coming to town! Children will collect eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and enjoy springtime in the park.  This free event is cosponsored by the Ridgefield Rotary Club (rain/snow date: Sunday, April 9 @ 12:00 pm)

Spring Break Tennis/All Sports/Art & Crafts/Fun Games Camp (ages 3-12)
Apr 10 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This camp is great fun for children of all ages who want to play tennis and golf, make arts & crafts (kites, tie-dye, visors, beads, bracelets, and other cool stuff ), play games, play capture the flag, basketball, soccer, kickball, golf, race scooters on the tennis court, and have a blast!  Campers must be 3 years old by the start date of camp and they must be 100% toilet trained.  For more information, contact Jonathan Chase at jchase894@comcast.net or at 203.894.4622.  Participants must wear sneakers and bring a snack, lunch, racquet, and towel.  Students should be prepared to have fun!  Camp is held rain or shine.

Free Running Safety Workshop (ages 14+) @ Ridgefield Recreation Center

Whether you’re running or leisurely walking, come learn valuable safety tips and ways to escape dangerous situations at this workshop presented the Ridgefield Running Club and Steve DeMasco Shaolin Studios.  You will develop new skills, learn situational awareness, and be able to educate others.

Golf – Staying in the Game / Wellness Education Series @ Ridgefield Recreation Center

Swing into the golf season!  You are invited to an interactive Golf Clinic presented by
Dr. Edward Markowitz and Personal Trainer Diane Calamar of the Physicians Health and Injury Center.  You’ll learn how to:

• Improve your full swing and put
• Prevent, treat, and recover from injuries
• Warm up, stretch, and condition properly for golf
• Pick out golf shoes and prevent foot injuries

Please dress comfortably and bring a driver and an iron if you wish.
