Membership Policies

REFUNDS (medical only) for the remainder of the session will be honored only when verified by a physician’s note. Prorated refunds for individual classes will not be honored, even with a doctor’s note. Refund requests made one week prior to the beginning of class will be honored with a small administrative fee deducted. Refund requests made after the beginning of the class session will not be honored. Aquatic programs are not eligible for prorated status. Classes missed due to holidays have been adjusted in their fees. There are no refunds on Recreation Center memberships. All class participants who request member discounts must be current Ridgefield Recreation Center members AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. There will be no retroactive non-member refunds should a person eventually become a Recreation Center member.


SOCIAL SERVICES Individuals who need auxiliary aids for effective participation in programs and services of the Town of Ridgefield are invited to make their needs and preferences known to the ADA Compliance Coordinator and Director of Social Services. Their office is at 400 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.  They may be reached at 203.431.2777 (Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm). The Special Services Coordinator at the Recreation Center is Barbara Carvalho and if any special accommodations are needed, she can be contacted at 203.431.2755 (Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm). Individual needs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
