The Travelers group emphasizes sportsmanship, skill development, and fun. Through the camp’s regular programming, campers will create friendships, encourage their peers, and master new endeavors. They will participate in exciting sports, games on the field, arts & crafts, Gaga competitions, and daily theme activities. Travelers receive basic camp swim lessons with a certified American Red Cross Instructor and have free swim time in the pool with tumble buckets and the indoor water slide. These campers will also participate in our “Pick Your Own Activity” time once a week. During this time, children will select a topic they are interested in and learn from camp counselors and other professionals in areas such as fencing, tumbling, fishing, and archery.
In addition to these traditional camp activities, Travelers will have fun exploring off campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays include a half-day trip to Martin Park Beach where campers can play in the sand, splash in the water, and ride down the Zoom Floom. On Thursdays, campers attend age appropriate field trips to locations such as Legoland, Quassy Amusement Park or Sky Zone.
